Find Your Perfect Tires ?
Tire Size Guide

Use this diagram to understand how tire measurements work. The width is measured in millimeters (metric) or inches, the aspect ratio is the height as a percentage of width, and the rim diameter is in inches.

Select tire specifications to filter and find the perfect match for your vehicle. Our system will precisely match your requirements.

How to Choose the Correct Tire Size for Your Snow Chains

Choosing the right snow chains starts with checking the numbers printed on the sidewall of your tire. Every tire displays a standard size code, which looks something like:

225 / 65 R17

Each part of this code represents a specific measurement of your tire. Once you know these three numbers, you can match them with our selector to find the correct snow chain model.

1. Tire Width (225)

This is the width of your tire in millimeters (mm).

In the example 225/65 R17, the tire width is 225 mm.

2. Aspect Ratio (65)

The aspect ratio represents the height of the tire sidewall, expressed as a percentage of the tire width.

A number like 65 means the sidewall height is 65% of the tire’s width.

3. Rim Diameter (R17)

This indicates the wheel diameter in inches (in).

In this example, R17 means the wheel is 17 inches.

How to Match Your Tire Size With Our Snow Chains

  1. Look at the code on your tire sidewall (e.g., 225/65 R17).
  2. Enter the three numbers—Width, Aspect Ratio, and Rim Diameter—into our selector.
  3. Our system will automatically recommend the compatible snow chain model for your tire.
  4. For safety, ensure your tire has enough clearance between the tire and the wheel well.
  5. Refer to the clearance chart above for minimum side and tread clearance requirements.

Q&A

Are snow chains difficult to install, especially in cold weather?

Not at all. Our quick-fit design allows you to install or remove the chains within minutes—no tools or mechanical skills needed. You can get back on the road safely, even in freezing conditions.

Will snow chains damage my tires or rims?

No. Our chains are designed with protective rubber fasteners and an optimized tension system that prevents friction and vibration, keeping your tires and rims safe during use.

I’m nervous about sudden braking or acceleration causing a skid — do the chains help?

Absolutely. The multi-contact tread pattern and firm grip reduce wheel spin during acceleration and improve braking stability, lowering the chance of skids under sudden maneuvers.

Can installing chains create sparks or damage if I accelerate too hard?

If the chain is properly tensioned and fitted, sparks are unlikely. Avoid aggressive acceleration on chains; our recommended installation and tension system minimizes metal-on-road contact and reduces wear and risk of sparks.
