These were a great fit for my tractor which uses 33x15 tires. The fit was good, and they seem pretty heavy duty. It hasn't snowed here yet, but I assume they are going to work well. The setup was easier than our old traditional snow chains. I will update once we get to use them in some snow and ice.

These are well made and easy to store with the included bag. Very good quality snow chains!

I got the B-rolls since I have 285 70 17's on my truck. These come is a storage bag with two straps. They are certainly heavy. I will give them a try this winter.

As far as tire chains go, they are good and should provide great traction. They didn't slip on my tires as I went up and down my long gravel driveway so they should do well when it actually snows. But the biggest thing about these chains is how EASY it is to get these on! Seriously, watch the video and you will see, and it is really just like that. The little adjuster box works as you drive and tightens the chains up into the correct position. Put these on in good weather to test them out and get used to how they work before it snows. The case is fairly nice and should stand up over time. I also should say that these are the first chains I've had that actually fits back into the case easily. I like these a lot. I mean, the chains themselves are fairly basic, like I said. But that adjuster makes it really nice.

These are rugged and robust chain set. It comes in a very nice case to keep everything together in the trunk or behind the seat of the truck. Comes with gloves in the kit in case you don't have any when installing and easy to read and follow instructions. The overall install takes minuets, im hoping I dont have a storm bad enough to need these, but glad I have a good set on hand.

I live in an area where it is always good to have snow chains even though I have a truck with 4-wheel drive and good mud/snow tires. The chains are of good quality and quite strong. They are easy to put on. They come in a convenient carrying case, so they don't rattle around and make noise when in the truck. Luckily, I haven't had to use them, yet.

Wow I am sure many will agree this type of snow chains ⛓️ are most definitely heavy duty which it did not take me long to notice that part as this is also very easy to install and I like even as something small this coming with a pair of long sleeve gloves I highly appreciate and which will come in handy and One thing I can say I do see a good value for a person money as this fits perfectly fine on my friends truck. With that said i would so recommend this brand and also I like the carrying case this comes with as it so make it more easier carrying the heavy snow chains.

They add says heavy duty and the chains are almost triple cost of the other type and when opening then I see that they are not that much bigger than other ones I have not used yet but the smaller ones break apart real easy and just looking at them would call medium duty ( I have not used them yet and if better than u think will repost on this) just looking at size of chain is my judgement so far.

So as of 19Dec2024 these chains get a five star for: packaging, ease of install/uninstall and customer support. It should be noted I installed these where I live in the desert but did not test them in the snow yet. The company did not have my tire compatability listed; LT285 60r20; stock tires on a 2022 2500 Ram Big Horn. Within 12 hours of me querying the company they advised that they had not tested this model yet on my tire size but would be interested to know compatibility as they believed they would work. I was surprised to see they fit easily on my truck and the self tightening device works well. Definitely a solid value compared to other manufacturers.

I recently bought a front-wheel drive truck and got stuck in the snow! So, I needed a plan to be able to navigate Canadian winters. When I received these chains, I was very excited to try them in the snow. Pros: - Comes with a great carrying case so you can store them in the truck easily. - Easy to use. They did not come with instructions, but the process is easy enough to figure out. - Very heavy! But with all the safety precautions, it's great that it's made so well. Overall, I think these are a great safety item to have in your truck. Would recommend.

We normally get a bit of snow and I find myself wanting chains just in case every year (and then forget over the summer). These chains are very easy to place on your tires for the most part. The instructions are pretty good but the video instructions really helped a lot. The little blue box seems to do its job in tightening up after fitting to your tires once you've rolled a few times down the driveway/road. The one thing that concerned me was the chains didn't seem to cover my tires enough so that the mechanism in the blue casing was further up on my tire sidewalls so it would be out of the way during extended use. I could not see any way to fit it better so that is a concern for the long haul. I deducted 1 star for that perceived issue with my tire size. These are great chains construction wise (the metal, carrying case, etc). The concept is nice as it allows you to not need custom fit chains and can move it around multiple vehicles that have tire sizes for the model you select - it always sucked to give up chain sets in the past when you changed tire sizes or sold off the vehicle. This set solves that issue for me.

I was initially a bit sceptical of the auto tightening feature, having chained up heavy trucks for a living, but I am both surprised and pleased with the performance of them. The prevailing winds in our area will drift our driveway in pretty heavily at times. Recently, I used these chains to bust through a particularly crusty drift in my pickup, and I would say they were the deciding factor in my making through. The auto-tensioners remained tight during some tire spinning, but still easy enough to release once I was back in the yard. My only complaint is there is no good way to secure the loose end of the chain. I didn’t have a lot of extra links, but it is a concern for those with smaller tires and wheel wells. These are well-made and easy to use, ideal for emergency use.

All around bad design and can lead to severe damage around the axle end brake lines because of the steel rod on the inside of the tire. Avoid!

I installs it to F-150. Easy on and easy off!! I'm satisfied with the result and time to install.

Over the years, I’ve purchased several types of tire chains, and I can confidently say these are the most heavy-duty ones I’ve owned. If given a choice, I’d pick these over anything else I’ve come across online. In addition, they are self tightening, which is a plus.

I could not figure them out

This product really surprised me. We are far from the old school chains that were always tangled up and a pain to install. They are very well engineered with color coding and quick attach all around. The instructions are a bit complicated for nothing. I tried to understand them, but I was not able to. I just threw them aside and install them how I thought it would be done. It is pretty straightforward and easy to do. Just keep the red chain on the outside part of the tire and the cable part on the inside. The automatic binder kit is extremely nice to have. It looks a bit flimsy, but it really does the job well. I used this kit on my 2004 GMC Yukon that is equipped with tire size 285/45R 22 and they fitted like a glove, they are easy to install and a breeze to handle. It is also very easy and convenient to put them back in the case provided, just double loop them with the steel cable part. They will fit perfectly back in their compartment. If you are in need of tire chains, this product might be expensive, but I think you pay for what you get. I strongly recommend, very nice kit.

I did not expect these snow chains to be as good as they are. I'm used to the old chains that you have to shimmy over the tire and manually attach them, covered in rust. Apparently technology caught up. With these here you just position them over the tire and use the buckle to tighten them up. No need to move the vehicle forward or backward. They are color coded too, to help you figure out which direction they install in. They also come in a nice carrying pouch for easy emergency storage with gloves.

Excellent product, clear instructions, great quality, easy installation. We were thrilled with them. Got us up and down a 1/3 mile steep gravel driveway after a foot of snow and ice.

Was stuck on a mountain driveway , bought a set went back up . installed in minutes. Crawled right out

Product looks good and comes in a nice storage bag. I have not tried them yet. I have them in the truck just in case.

Well packaged very compact

Instructions indicated they were the correct size for my 20\" truck tire and I was able to get them on. With a lost of adjusting, pulling and tugging I was able to barely get the cable to hook in the last link. I think the quality is fine but am wondering if I should not have ordered the next size larger.

There's a learning curve. Orientation of the chains depends which side of the vehicle you are on. Start with the blue end towards the front of the vehicle if on the driver's side. Start with the yellow end towards the front if on the passenger's side. Once you get that down it's not so time consuming. The chains so far have worked well but they can get caught on the brake lines when taking them off.

followed the instructions to choose chain size. Originally said I needed HKN 160. But graph said I needed to choose HYR-A instead. I choose the model that listed my tire size and ordered chains. When I received them, I tried to put on tires but could not get the chains to reach to lock. I tried on concrete and on grass multiple times. Chain ends would not reach. Is there an alternative size. Would like to speak with Manufacturer.

They are pretty quick to install as advertised. Just throw the main chain over the side of the tire and then connect the 2nd one to the connecting hooks, and then tighten it using the fastener. - It makes a huge difference in heavy snow and icy conditions. Holy cow this is amazing be it the best purchase ever. So easy to put on. And they do self tighten.

Although I haven’t had to use these as of yet. They came very well packed in a really good sturdy carrying case. They even included gloves that go to ur elbow for reaching around the tire. Insulation appears quick & easy.

Easy to install on our Toyota Tacoma, as a four wheel drive we read on the manufacturer’s that we place on the rear tires and it suggested the size. I am glad we read before buying because they were a great fit

These are really nice. We don’t get enough snow this year to utilize them. Hopefully I can update next year when we do.

It doesn¡¯t work, it kept coming off. We ended up digging our car out of the snow! I¡¯m so disappointed!

I needed to drive on some back roads up north and even with \"winter\" tires I knew I needed more grip. These add a ton of traction and let you power through almost any snow as long as it doesn't pile up under you. The binding method works surprisingly well. The instructions were hard to follow but as long as you keep the red part on the outside it mounts fine. The carrying bag is good and required as this is a handful to lug around.

Keeps my Suburban from getting stuck in deep snow. Fits perfectly.

Easy to install on my oversized tires. Took 3 minutes without reading instructions the first time. Just make sure to flip the adjuster right side up so the tire doesn’t mess with the buttons. The second time it took 1 minute at most including the second to crack a beer. Now to test them on the roads this winter. I’ll update and adjust stars as needed.

Arrived quickly. Just as advertised. Love how it’s well put together in a case with a pair of gloves. My husband watched the videos on how to put on. We were traveling through an area where they are often needed. Fortunately we didn’t need them this trip but live in a snowbelt area and will surely need them at some point. Definitely recommended.

Not real easy to put on, especially if you have a slight disability.

First time buyer of tire chains. Delivery was on time. The products was impressively easy to install because of the colour markings, and ease if repackaging for next use. I used it on a 3/4 ton Sierra.
